Paul Simonsen is a registered architect, a fellow of the Construction Specifications Institute, a certified construction specifier, a certified construction contract administrator, a LEED Accredited Professional, and a member of Specification Consultants in Independent Practice. Paul has 35 years experience in technical architectural practice. Experience includes architectural discipline leadership and director of specifications in large A/E firms as well as more than 16 years as an independent architectural specifications consultant.
Paul has vast experiences working in and with large firms that have multiple locations, varied project types, and multiple disciplines. Paul is dedicated to performing quality service in a timely manner. Experiences include creating a master guide specification system for two large firms, project specifications on hundreds of projects for large, small, and medium sized firms as well as performing technical and coordination peer reviews on documents before they were released for construction. Project types include municipal, educational, hospitality, health care, retail, and mixed use.
